Andy enjoys a prime setting directly at the valley station of the skiing and hiking area Hochzeiger. The hiking paradise starts right on your doorstep. The village of Jerzens is located on a sunny high plateau with a spectacular view of the Pitztal valley. The peaks of the surrounding mountains are waiting to be discovered by foot, by mountain or electric bike, or effortlessly by cable car.
100 kilometres of signposted trails take hikers up to the mountain pastures, past streams and grazing cows, to the habitat of chamois and golden eagles. Quaint mountain huts provide welcome rest and much-deserved refreshments. Visitors should not miss the chance to taste some of the traditional Tirolean delicacies, among them the typical schnapps!
The high altitude of 1,500 metres is perfect for allergy sufferers and asthmatics as the air is practically pollen-free. The days are mild and warm, the cool nights let you fall into a deep slumber which you can only experience from breathing in fresh mountain air.
Pitztal Summer Card
Enjoy free admission to attractions in the Pitztal and its surroundings from 25.05.2024 – 20.10.2024. You will receive your Pitztal Summer Card from our reception on arrival. The card allows daily free use of one cable car or access to the XP adventure park (including day of arrival or day of departure). In addition, you have daily free access to other participating experience providers such as museums, swimming lake, indoor climbing park, bouldering hall, and Steinbock Centre, plus daily free use of public buses in the Pitztal.

Summer in the Pitztal valley is not all about hiking and mountain climbing. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy an abundance of activities: running and Nordic walking, horseback riding, trekking, archery, tennis, swimming or fishing. Thrill-seekers can engage in rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping or paragliding.
